Sam Almond

Minneapolis, MN

Sam Almond started doing standup in October 2020 because his speech therapist told him public speaking would be hard for someone with autism and he's too stubborn to admit she was right. He started small, but now regrettably talks about his autism, his catholic parents, his brother who may or may not be alive, drugs, religion, children, his new bidet, and many more topics he's under qualified to give insight on.
Since he started, he finished 3rd place at Acme comedy company's Funniest Person in the Twin Cities Contest (two years in a row, because they know Sam needs structure,) opened for national headliners like Chloe Radcliffe and Dauood Naimyar, and can be regualry seen performing around Minneapolis at Sisyphus Comedy Club and Comedy Corner Underground.
