Jodie Maruska is a stand-up comedy veteran with over 20 years of experience performing at clubs, colleges, casinos and events across the country. Formerly a regular in the popular Midwestern stand-up shows “Women out all Night”, she especially loves to perform for events or organizations near her heart such as Twin Cities LGBTQ Pride, One Man Minneapolis, and most recently, the Human Rights Campaign. She is a published writer which includes having been a regular contributor to the “Comic Relief” column in the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Locally, she’s recently been seen in the Big Fat Comedy Show at Lush and P*ssy Control at the Comedy Underground and she’s excited to be co-headlining the Joke Joint Comedy Club in St. Paul in November. The Twin Cities Reader called her “..one of the Twin Cities funniest women” and Q Monthly says she is “divine”. She’s thrilled to be appearing in her first comedy festival right here at home!
