Cooper Van grol
Cooper Van Grol was born and raised in Orange County, California and spent time living in Chicago, Maine and New York before settling in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he started doing comedy in 2015.
Cooper has been all over the place, both geographically and emotionally, and is able to illustrate this poignantly with his comedy- which makes watching him like riding a rollercoaster that you’re not quite sure is up to code, but once you’re off it you realize the fear of going off the tracks is what made it so thrilling- and you want to get right back in line.
Cooper was a semi-finalist in the 2017 House of Comedy’s “Funniest Person with a Day Job” Contest, and was a producer of the Rosa Comedy Open Mic and Showcase (before Dulono’s Pizza in uptown was tragically shut down, R.I.P.) and is excited to have been selected to perform on this year’s 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival.
